3/8/2008 I did itSo I moved to blogger. Here is my new web address: http://missusbennett.blogspot.com/ I'm sure you've missed me immensely. 2/27/2008 Blogger?
I'm thinking about switching over to blogger, for a lot of reasons. Mostly I just feel like it would give me more freedom to do what I like. I actually already have a blogger account - but just haven't really started it up yet. So give me some feedback. What do you think, do those of you who have blogger like it, love it or hate it? 2/23/2008 Visiting the Cole Family
Last weekend, David and I and my parents drove up to Seattle to visit the Cole family and meet their new baby Lindsay. It was such a fun trip - although too short. We drove up Friday (we left Clinton around 4 am) and drove back down to Utah on Monday.
We made a stop in Pendleton Oregon because my parents always love to stop at the famous Pendleton Woolen Mills and buy a discounted blanket.
I made sure to document that we were really there.
We finally arrived in Woodinville, where the cutest nephew and nieces and grandkids entertained us the whole weekend.
Garrett's birthday was just a few days earlier, so my dad got him a pair of binoculars as a gift. He and Megan liked looking through them the wrong way better, so that everyone looked tiny.
Here Megan is showing off her ability to hang. "I'm hanging upside up!"
Saturday was Jon's birthday, so the kids helped him open his presents.
What a cute new little niece! Lindsay is such a good baby.
Sunday David and I borrowed the Cole's car and did a little sight seeing around Seattle.
We drove around Harbor Island. Seattle is so beautiful.
The end.
2/14/2008 Happy Valentine's Day
My first memory of Valentine's Day is from my first grade class with Mrs. Clark. That day, everyone passed out their valentines and put them in the construction paper woven heart envelope we'd made in class the day before. The room mothers came and brought us cup cakes. Then we all got to sit down and open our valentines. I had been very careful the night before, when sorting through the cards I would be giving out, to only give the boys a generic be good. I remember eagerly looking at the cards the boys gave me and analyzing what it really meant if they gave me a conversation heart that said be mine or hot mama. Finally I got a heart that said I Love You, from Spencer N. He loved me. We sat down for a story around our teacher later that day and I sat by Spencer. I told him thank you for the card and he said: "Want to go to Burger King?" "I'll have to ask my mom." I said "Come right in!" he said as he used his fingers to pull back his nose and reveal his huge nostrils. "Booger King, get it? Booger King! Ha ha ha!" Ah, Valentine's Day.
Do you have a favorite Valentine's Day memory? 2/13/2008 Happy Birthday Garrett!2/6/2008 Dear loud angry scary guys. . .
Dear loud angry scary guys who sit behind us at the Jazz games, You are loud. You say BOOOO louder than I've ever heard someone shout it without a microphone, and you are pretty scary. You are constantly saying things like YOU SUCK! GET MILLSAP OUT OF THERE! IDIOTS! KORVER YOU SUUUUCCCKKK! Do you really even like the Jazz? It doesn't even seem like you enjoy the game at all. When we were 20 points ahead on Monday night, you still said BOOOO and HISS and I HATE YOU, more times than should be allowed. I wonder, do you think they can hear you? Do you think coach Sloan can hear you? I mean, maybe they can since you are SO LOUD, but let me rephrase that. Do you really think they care what you are saying? A concerned person who sits in front of you and has to listen, Michelle
I snuck a photo:
There they are behind my shoulder. Avoid looking at the weird angle of my face. 2/5/2008 Baby #3Becky finally had her baby girl! Mom and baby are healthy and happy. Pictures to come soon! 2/4/2008 Snow again. . .These pictures don't do justice to the amount of snow that is at David's mom's house in North Ogden. That place gets so much snow!
See that mound over to the left? That's a trampoline.
And do you see the bottom stair? Neither do I.
Jasper and Kazia playing in the snow. They were having so much fun!
Side yard/sledding hill.
David joined in on the fun.
It snowed another foot before we left after the Superbowl. We all went out and shoveled. It isn't bad when you have a snow blower - we need to get one of those! As we were leaving David said to me "Man, I wish I could just take this whole week off of work and just play in the snow. Wouldn't that be so much fun?" "No." I said, without hesitation. 1/26/2008 Good/Bad
